본 개인정보처리방침은 허준녕(서비스명: Brainpill, 이하 “운영자”)이 제공하는 뇌졸중119 모바일 애플리케이션(패키지명 com.jnheo.stroke119, 이하 “앱”)과 관련 서비스에 적용됩니다.

2. 처리하는 정보

앱은 사용하는 기능과 사용자가 부여한 권한에 따라 다음 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

위치정보: 사용자가 위치 권한을 허용한 경우 기기의 대략적 또는 정확한 위치를 주변 병원 표시, 거리 계산, 현재 위치로 지도 이동 및 길찾기 기능에 사용합니다.
네트워크 및 기술정보: 병원 목록과 이미지를 불러오는 과정에서 인터넷 프로토콜(IP) 주소, 요청 시각, 브라우저·앱 또는 기기의 기본 네트워크 정보가 서버 로그에 자동으로 기록될 수 있습니다.
사용자가 앱에서 확인하거나 선택한 정보: 간이 증상 확인 항목과 화면 내 선택값은 결과 표시를 위해 기기에서 처리됩니다. 앱은 이를 사용자 계정과 연결하지 않습니다.

앱은 이름, 이메일 주소, 전화번호, 연락처, 사진, 음성, 금융정보 또는 광고 식별자를 요구하지 않으며 사용자 계정 생성을 제공하지 않습니다.

4. 권한 및 선택권

위치 권한은 선택 사항입니다. 사용자는 앱의 권한 요청을 거부하거나 기기 설정에서 언제든지 철회할 수 있습니다. 위치 권한을 거부하면 현재 위치 표시와 위치 기반 병원 검색이 제한될 수 있지만, 증상 확인과 뇌졸중 정보 등 다른 기능은 계속 사용할 수 있습니다.

5. 외부 서비스 및 정보 제공

앱은 기능 제공을 위해 다음 서비스를 이용합니다.

Google Maps Platform 및 Google 지도: 지도 표시, 지도 조작 및 길찾기 기능. Google은 해당 기능 제공 과정에서 지도 사용정보와 기기·위치 관련 정보를 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리할 수 있습니다.
stroke119.org 서비스: 주변 병원 목록, 거리 및 병원 이미지를 제공하기 위해 위치 기반 요청과 기본 네트워크 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

운영자는 개인정보를 판매하지 않으며 맞춤형 광고, 데이터 브로커 제공 또는 제3자의 독자적 마케팅 목적으로 공유하지 않습니다. 법령상 의무가 있거나 사용자 또는 타인의 안전과 권리를 보호하기 위해 필요한 경우 법령이 허용하는 범위에서 정보를 공개할 수 있습니다.

6. 보유 및 삭제

현재 위치는 지도와 주변 병원 기능을 제공하기 위해 처리되며, 운영자는 해당 좌표를 사용자 프로필로 구성하거나 지속적으로 보관하도록 앱을 설계하지 않았습니다.
서버 운영 로그에는 IP 주소, 요청 시각 및 오류 정보가 포함될 수 있으며 보안, 장애 대응 및 법적 의무에 필요한 기간 동안만 보유한 후 삭제하거나 익명화합니다.
앱에 남아 있는 캐시와 설정은 기기의 앱 데이터 삭제 또는 앱 제거를 통해 삭제할 수 있습니다.
개인정보 관련 열람, 정정 또는 삭제 요청은 아래 연락처로 문의할 수 있습니다. 법령상 보존 의무가 있는 정보는 해당 기간 동안 보관될 수 있습니다.

Summary: Stroke119 helps users locate stroke-capable hospitals, review possible stroke symptoms, and access emergency-response information. The app does not display ads or sell personal data. If you grant location permission, the app uses your current location for nearby-hospital and navigation features. No account or login is required.

1. Scope and service provider

This Privacy Policy applies to the Stroke119 mobile application (package com.jnheo.stroke119) and related services provided by JoonNyung Heo under the service name Brainpill (“we,” “us,” or the “Service Provider”).

2. Information we process

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the app may process:

Location data: approximate or precise device location, if permitted, to show nearby hospitals, calculate distance, center the map on your current position, and provide directions.
Network and technical data: IP address, request time, and basic app, device, or network information may be recorded automatically in server logs when the app retrieves hospital lists and images.
On-device selections: symptom-check responses and other screen selections are processed on the device to display results and are not linked to a user account.

The app does not require a name, email address, telephone number, contacts, photos, audio, financial information, or advertising identifier, and it does not offer user account creation.

3. How we use information

Show maps and nearby stroke-capable hospitals based on the current location.
Provide directions to a selected hospital.
Provide stroke symptom and emergency-response information.
Secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the service and prevent misuse.
Comply with law and protect users, third parties, rights, and safety.

4. Permissions and choices

Location permission is optional. You may refuse a permission request or revoke it at any time in your device settings. Refusing location permission may limit current-location and nearby-hospital features, but symptom and stroke-information features remain available.

5. External services and disclosures

The app uses the following services to provide its features:

Google Maps Platform and Google Maps for map display, map interaction, and directions. Google may process map usage, device, and location-related information under its own privacy policy.
stroke119.org services to provide nearby-hospital listings, distance information, and hospital images. Location-based requests and basic network information may be processed for these functions.

We do not sell personal data or disclose it for personalized advertising, data brokerage, or a third party’s independent marketing. We may disclose information where required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, other persons, rights, or safety.

6. Retention and deletion

Current location is processed to provide map and nearby-hospital functions. The app is not designed to build a user profile from coordinates or retain them persistently on our systems.
Operational logs may contain IP addresses, request times, and error information. They are retained only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, or legal obligations, and are then deleted or anonymized.
You can remove app caches and settings by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
Contact us below to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Information subject to a legal retention obligation may be kept for the required period.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, and server security management. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children

The app is not designed to collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal data, we will investigate and take appropriate deletion or protective action.

9. Emergency medical notice

Hospital, symptom, and emergency information in the app is provided for general informational purposes and does not replace professional medical diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, call 119 or your local emergency service immediately. Hospital information and service availability may change, so confirm with the relevant facility before traveling.
